Definition
It is a bridge between technology and business, a critical function within most technology-driven companies. It involves a specialized set of activities that occur before a sale is finalized (closed), focuses on the technical aspects of selling a product or service. It's about understanding the customer's needs, demonstrating how the company's offering can solve their problems, and building confidence in the proposed solution. Pre-sales engineers are the technical experts who (usually) work closely with the sales team to win deals, however, a presales engineer can also play as sales, in such cases can be called (presales delegate engineer).
